It depends on what you’re trying to achieve. Google is ‘intention marketing’ which means you can capture the attention of the 10% of people actively looking to solve their problem, meaning its a short term success goal with low scaleability. Where as Facebook/Instagram is ‘interruption marketing’, meaning that you place a relevant ad in front of a relevant audience, capture their attention and convert someone that wouldn’t otherwise have converted that day. This is the most scaleable method because its repeatable.

We would audit your ad account, look at the funnel flow & soft stats to understand where your bottle neck is.
It could be that your landing page is distracting where people don’t know how to optin, or your CPM could be through the roof as a result of poor targeting & low relevancy. The key to optimisation, is to know what the data says & make decisions from that.

First, congratulations on looking into this as a first step! The first things we would look at are validating a hook/offer that converts & figuring out who your target audience is… after all, if you speak to everyone, you speak to no-one.
